Kathmandu - Nagarkot
After breakfast go for a cultural sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath, Nepal's most sacred Hindu shrine. Known as one of the greatest Shiva sites, the temple is located on the banks of the Bagmati River, 5 kilometres northeast of Kathmandu Valley in the eastern city of Kathmandu. Then visit Boudhanath, the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It is known as the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and is renown for its richness in Buddhist symbolism. This is followed by a drive to Nagarkota; a hill station 35 km east of Kathmandu city with an elevation of 7200 ft. Nagarkot offers the best view of Himalayan Panorama during sunrise and sun set. Check in to the hotel and spend the night at Nagarkot.
Nagarkot – Bhaktapur - Kathmandu
Start the day with an enchanting view of the Himalayan Range at Sunrise - Nagarkot is most famous for. Drive back to the hotel for breakfast and then proceed to Bhaktapur city where you can explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square, one of the most charming architectural showpieces of Kathmandu valley. The square is a conglomeration of pagoda and shikhara-style temples around a fifty five window palace of brick and wood. Then drive back to Kathmandu. Check in to the hotel and spend the night at Kathmandu.
Kathmandu – Dakshinkali – Patan - Kathmandu
After breakfast drive to Dakshinkali, located 22 kilometres outside Kathmandu. Dakshinkali is one of the main temples of Nepal dedicated to the goddess Kali. After Darshan and puja, drive to Patan city and visit Patan Durbar, an ancient royal palace situated in southeast of Kathmandu city. The city is full of ancient palaces, temples and shrines and beautiful carvings including the famous 21 Pinnacles Krishna Mandir. Then drive back to Kathmandu and enjoy rest of the day on your own. Spend the night at Kathmandu.
Transfer to Airport
Check out of the hotel and get a transfer back to Kathmandu International Airport in time for your flight back home.
