After enjoying an early lunch and cleaning of the campsite as responsible nature lovers, experience the food and shopping on offer at Manali’s very own Mall Road (cost not included in the package). Get back into the bus at 16.00 hrs for 1 final night to be spent with your fellow participants. Dinner en route to New Delhi is on us.
Reach New Delhi in the morning equipped with life-long memories, countless experiences and new friends for life. Get on social media and share your adventure with rest of the world.
One of the best ways to enjoy the scents, sounds and sights of nature is on foot. There is nothing like pulling your pack on your back and exploring new spots. A good exercise for both mind and body. Learning and sharing along the way makes it an enjoyable experience.
Be an outdoor chef! Cooking on your own using wood fire is an activity that requires a different set of rules and involves skill and innovation. Enjoy not only the food but also the process of preparing it and everything will just seem to taste so yummy!
Building a fire when needed will increase your ability to survive in the wilderness. Learn the tricks to build and keep a fire going anytime anywhere, no matter how bad the situation is. Know the materials that are easiest to catch fire. Stay warm, cook food, and boil water. This can also be used as a distress signal when lost in the middle of nowhere.
The temperature dips and the air becomes thinner as you soar high in the mountains. The body needs to adapt to this change in air. Spend the first day walking around short to and fro treks from the base camp. The walk prepares you better for the next coming days ahead.
An authentic challenge course modeled army style to test your endurance and speed against time. Run, jump, crawl and climb yourself to fitness and be ready to face any challenge. That’s a soldier’s word!
Sliding down a rock face can be a daunting task. Rope cables stretched from the rappel-point test you at every step. Though a quick method to descend, this is one sport where your life hangs in balance, literally! It’s time to get one-on-one with this self-rescue skill.
Backpacking gives you the confidence to hike with freedom and explore new areas with ease. The key is to make sure that everything you need fits easily on your back. Practice the techniques and with every hike you will feel more comfortable in wild places.
A village experience exudes a rustic charm. Explore untouched villages and get candid with village folks. Watch them nurture their fields, orchards and livestock. Exchange a smile, a laugh or simply sit back to listen their heartwarming stories.
Many valuable lessons are to be learnt on a night walk. Trees become magnified, sounds become intensified, and the ground becomes more uneven. But when you have become accustomed to these apparent changes you will begin to appreciate the subtle beauty of the dark and enjoy the noises of the night.
The starting point of this activity is deciding on the slogan for your team. Get your Paints, brushes, crayons and pencils out and run your imaginations wild on the canvas. The best one steals the show!
Everyone’s a star here. Act, direct, dance and sing, make props and have fun with your script. Get creative and don’t limit your imagination. Stage fright won’t stand a chance!
Playing out in the woods? How about building a secret den by just using nature’s gifts and not even a knife? Understand the properties of various natural materials for strength, weatherproofing and insulation, find the right spot and spend the night in your shelter. Wake up to a happy morning!
A real heart stopper! Imagine yourself hanging off from a high bridge or a rock cap with nothing between you and the ground other than thin air. There’s no turning back. Encourage someone who’s afraid of heights to take up the challenge as we lower you down to safety with the help of a rope.
Sometimes a river can’t be crossed on foot alone. River water can be both deep and fast flowing. Count on your rope skills to pass across. With every move on the rope you defeat fear!
One of the many benefits of practicing yoga postures is the fact that it allows us to slip into meditation effortlessly. Meditation being one of the main aspects of Yoga, it's essential that we sit for meditation after practicing Yoga asana and pranayama; else it is like preparing our dinner but not eating it!
What if you were lost in the woods and needed to find a way out? With correct navigation skills, you can find your path quicker. Familiarize yourself with different aspects of navigation tools and learn easy ways to determine your location.
