Hemkund Sahib is home to the blue Primula, one of the most beautiful flowers in the Himalayan Range. From mid-July to mid-August, these flowers can be seen blooming in thousands in the valley. The high altitude serene lake, Hemkund, visited by Hindu as well as Sikh pilgrims’ lies here at 4329 meters. Surrounded by seven snow-clad peaks and their glaciers, Hathi Parvat and Saptrishi peaks feed the lake and Himganga flows out of this lake. Guru Govind Singh, the tenth Guru of the Sikh faith had meditated on the bank of this lake in one of his earlier births.
Haridwar – Joshimath
After a hearty breakfast, drive to Joshimath (253 kms), the winter abode of Lord Badrinath. Enjoy lunch enroute and arrive at Joshimath in evening. Check into your hotel, acclimatize at the height of 1874 mt and enjoy a good night’s sleep.
Joshimath - GovindGhat - Ghangaria Trek
Start your day with some delicious breakfast and drive to reach Govindghat located at 1828 mt. After this short 22 kms drive, begin your trekking expedition towards Ghangajra, located at 3049 mt. Enjoy some packed lunch enroute the 14 km trek and reach the destination for the night, also known as Govind Dham. This picturesque campsite also is the base camp for Hemkund Sahi and Valley of flowers. Spend the evening in the beauty of this place and enjoy some star gazing before ending the day in the comfort of your tent.
Ghangaria - Hemkund - Ghangaria
An early start to the day sees you take up a 7 km trek to reach Hemkund Sahib, one of the most revered of Sikh Shrines in the country. Situated at 4329 mt, this gurdwara is the highest in the world. After offering your prayers, trek back down to Ghangariva over overnight stay. Relax and enjoy the rest of the day as per your leisure.
Valley of Flower - Ghangaria.
The day has come where in you visit the extraordinary. Trek to the valley of Flowers and witness exotic flowers and other flora this beautiful place has to offer. Trek back to Ghangria and retire for the night.
Ghangaia - GovindGhat – Badrinath- Joshimath
Trek back 14 Km and return to Govindghat. Drive back to Joshimath, check in to your hotel and enjoy the night in the comfort of your room.
When your tummies filled after a hearty breakfast, drive back to Haridwar with memories of a holiday well spent.

Adventure Activities Promoters can change the program schedule if any unforeseen circumstances arise.
In case of any illness during the expedition, the expenses for medical treatment, travel and porter, or any other expenses that may arise will be borne by the concerned individual.
Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited during the camp.
Adventure activities promoters cannot be held responsible for any accident, illness or any unexpected events during the expedition.
Primary medical facilities will be available at the campsites.
Participants will be presented with certificates only on successful completion of the expedition.
During the expedition, there may be conditions or situations that may arise due to which certain decisions may be needed to be undertaken by the camp director. The camp director has full discretion to alter, change or cancel an expedition on a certain date and his decision will be final and binding.
Those who are on special medication should bring their own necessary medicines. People having asthma, blood pressure, heart problems or any high altitude ailments are advised not to participate
